Welcome to the co-opted:
This is one phrase most of my Reds (the communist guys and gals) who believed that there are two opposing paradigms in the world, a dominant world paradigm and a Thrid world paradigm.
And every big Business movement is the handy work of some big honchos in some american and european banks and not any thing called Market Factors.
When somebody counters their theories, they counter- YOU HAVE BEEN CO-OPTED BY THE MEDIA.
A little late welcome to all the blog co-opted but here it goes:
Korlipara: always inebriated, where ebriated is being drunk.
Aishwarya: if calvin was real and needed a pativrata who would "worship" him and be a great fan of his, then here she is.
Aditi: if confusion in self had a Greek Godess, then here she is!!
Praveen: A guy krazy about people from Kummarwadi
Srinivas: Lal Salaaam Comrade, the left side of Things
Chinmayi: the babe in the helmet on the bike, with a very misspellable name.
Rajiv: my soulmate and life partner during lunch.
Sangeeta: lol, mom in office, so?, that, tatalu.

And heres ot the one who co-opted me:

So what if he says:
I did a lot of work on corp gov in MBA
bhawna says:
but i guess in reality all the org don't at all follw the corp gorvern
So what if he says:
thats the hypocrisy that i wanted to get at
bhawna says:
it is so much of made up
So what if he says:
u know what I have noticed
So what if he says:
companies will talk abt Corp gov only during the boom time
So what if he says:
when they need an extra measure to show investors that they are better than the others
So what if he says:
when its normal time or recession corp gov goes out of the window
bhawna says:
very true esecially when it comes to the awards etc, we are nominated for the UTI capital institute thing
So what if he says:
UTI thats one of the first companies which shud be necked out when u wanna talk abt protecting shareholder value
bhawna says:
yes that is the reason they conduct such kind of things and god knows how they would be judging the whole issue that again would be biased
bhawna says:
all bullshit they talk of investors and consumers interest how do you prove it just by writing the golden words that you care
So what if he says:
corp gov it only makes sense if a company is making more profits that it can reinvest
So what if he says:
only then will it think abt what more can i do to get good will
bhawna says:
very true, but do you genuinly feel that still they would do the job only with the spirit of corp govern
So what if he says:
they are not fooling anybody,
So what if he says:
they are interested in the investors only because they control the share price of the comapny "ideally"
So what if he says:
but in India the retail shareholders, individual investors form such a small part of the share capital that the companies dont even need to bother.
bhawna says:
right cause they are just satisfied with the returns
So what if he says:
Even if individual investors own shares most of the decisions to buy and sell are decided not by the "progressive policies of the company" but Price
So what if he says:
and even then the broker is the greater influencer for any transsation
bhawna says:
that is very true especially for the cement industry
So what if he says:
thats the reason u hardly find any correlation to what goes on in the company interms of revenue and its share price
bhawna says:
and the greatest of all is that inspite of industry not doing well and making so much of hue and cry to increase demand etc but if you see the shre prices --marvelous
So what if he says:
yes
bhawna says:
well the experience says that actually the revenue does flow in but the fabricated statements are produced to extract all the subsidies and benefits
I am sure there are very easy ways of tackling this and its just not apathy that they are not doing this its just corruption
bhawna says:
but balu we don't have the solution to that as well cause at some place or other all of us are contributing towards this corruption
So what if he says:
but u know what
So what if he says:
the world has to have a lot of inefficiencies to survive
So what if he says:
if everything follows a logical tract then a few tenets of Human life are being questioned
bhawna says:
right as we are not tuned to the true logics of life
So what if he says:
theres nothing called true logic in life
bhawna says:
so mean it is this survival of the fittest that drives us everywhere and forces to do all the possible black deeds we know of
So what if he says:
not really theres hardly any need for that primitive feeling to creep in
So what if he says:
its just the feeling of greed
So what if he says:
differentiation
So what if he says:
I want to be different from another one
So what if he says:
I want more than the next guy
So what if he says:
I am better than the next guy
bhawna says:
yes true that is fine but how do you know how much the guy next to you is having you have no idea of that
So what if he says:
its not as rational a thot as that. Its just "I just want to feel better than the other guy"
bhawna says:
but then there will be no end to that what if you are already better than the guy still more and more that is exacctly when all the wrong routes come on your path and we blindly follow as we cannot see anything other than that feel good factor so all is fair
So what if he says:
thats just human nature irrefutable even if it has been identified.
bhawna says:
so then why look for mr. perfection or miss perfect, when all know that they actually are all wrong
So what if he says:
its all relative
bhawna says:
so all are actually being driven by the realtive forces of the world and not any of these well laid out ideologies or teachings i guess that is were all are teaching fails
So what if he says:
All teaching makes sense till u come to a decision point, and the variables which u were taught are not the variables which face u
So what if he says:
this is the reason why teaching dont really matter
bhawna says:
so then why blame the politicians for not being educated any way we are also doing the same thing
So what if he says:
yes but they are as representative as the public
So what if he says:
but they are like god, people who are there to shoulder all our mistakes
bhawna says:
so we too are representing things like values etc in the market
So what if he says:
good question
So what if he says:
other than the virtues of greed there are a lot of virtues whihc have made teh world bearable and enjoyable place
So what if he says:
I think when these good virtues are over ridden by the others then u have a problem in hand and teh problem is only for those people who believe that a virtue is good
bhawna says:
then how do you differentiate between the good and the bad where does optimism go then
So what if he says:
u know what when I was a kid I used to beleive that what a majority believe is good is good
So what if he says:
and when people move over and values change good becomes bad
So what if he says:
and vice versa
So what if he says:
look at urlife time think abt virtues of Ambition, power,
So what if he says:
these were probably bad thinsg to have at one point of time but now there are a "must have"
bhawna says:
but again that is making you selfish and greedy then why term these greed and desire as bad virtues
So what if he says:
theya re now may be in sometime they might be good
So what if he says:
like desire now in this open society is not termed as a bad virtue but a few decades back it was a "no-no"
bhawna says:
things this way will lead us back to the barbarian age then may be in a modified way
So what if he says:
thats where we are right now
So what if he says:
why fear teh barbarian age
So what if he says:
tell me one of charectors of teh barbarians that we dont have now?
So what if he says:
may be its just cloaked in Societal norms but will keep surfacing sometime or the other
So what if he says:
but these societal norms are very important as well
So what if he says:
man has changed the way he wants to be, which I think is the biggest achievement which differentiates us over the animals
So what if he says:
Man has realised "self" and realsied that self needs to be modified to suit the needs of an intelligent society not even a civilised society
bhawna says:
and in proving that intelligence crosses all the boundaries
So what if he says:
Man in the end has realised he is a social animal
So what if he says:
the basic difference being
So what if he says:
a solitary animal species works only for its immediate family
So what if he says:
but a social animal works for a community like bees
bhawna says:
that we can reason out and the animals can't
So what if he says:
yep
So what if he says:
not really what is reason?
So what if he says:
its just the understandgin that If I do this this will happen? reason is why did this happen when I did that? am I right?
bhawna says:
BUT THEN HOW DO YOU DECIDE TO DO ONLY WITH THE REASONING CAPACITY
bhawna says:
what i meant was that how do you decide that if you do this it will happen isent that again the logic or the reasoning of your that is helping you to make judgement
So what if he says:
yes it is

To be Continued....

Oh my god!
Who ever said a nuclear bomb was a scare tactic?
Who ever said Natural Calamities/ Diseases killed most people?
Who ever said capabilities and Intelligent command the most respect?
Who would make the most money if he/ and she starts charging people money to use his/her photographs?
Who gets the blame for everybody’s mistakes? Who gets the credit for almost everybody’s good deeds?
Who gets the most Donations even when there are millions of poor people?
Who is the unifying factor for billions and Who is the only factor who can have 2 billion strong groups fighting each other?
Who is the basis the organization, which holds the most amount of land in US?
Who is the person, who can make climb 20 km mountain just for a peek, when he is supposed to be everywhere?

And the final question is:
WHO IS GOD?

Work like you don't need the money, I need the money
Love like you've never been hurt, I havent been,
Dance like nobody's watching, I do.

I was looking back on my life
And all the things I've done to me
I'm still looking for the answers
And I'm still searching for the key

The wreckage of my past keeps haunting me
It just won't leave me alone
I still find it all a mystery
Could it be a dream?
The Road to Nowhere leads to me

Through all the happiness and sorrow
I guess I'd do it all again
Live for today and not tomorrow
It's still the road that never ends

I was watching this parliament Fiasco for the last few days.
I have always been a vehement supporter of No nation theory.
But I feel very outraged as these acts keep happening to Indians.

I have this theory that Indians as a race are very timid people and are not very competitive either.
We seem to be one of the most tactless people in the world. Our spokesmen never seem to match the poise and reason of the Pakistan High Commissioner, who ever the smart Bastard is.

Pakistan always seems to get the better of India on topics which we seem to overlook, for example, the evidence that they want us to show them, if we are so goddam convinced that its LeT and JM then why cant we bloody show it to them?

Its either that Indian Govt doenst have anything and just blames them to absolve its responsibilty to conduct and find the guys who did it.
I am actually tired of seeing India getting it ass whipped to the moon in any diplomatic initiative.
We cant even seemt o convince anybody in the world about which all the 90 odd crore people are more certain than their next meal.

I can't get a girl

Well, I'm tryin' to play this guitar
Well, I'm learning "Stairway to Heaven"
Cuz Heaven's where you are

I can't go to school

Lost in America

Capitalism?

When you seem to be in control of your life,
but none of the results seem to how you planned
just heard today that fun is on the road and not in the inn,
I am having a blast on the road,
but is my wish for the rest in the inn forbidden?
but dont we always realise that at every point on the road the next inn seems to get too uninteresting?
If the objective in life is not to reach the inn
but be on the road, isnt it like the means becoming the end in itself?
Do you cohort with the other travellers?
What if theres place for only one person in the inn?

If on the way to the inn you die?
Dint u reach another inn anyway?

jaywalker: why are all relationships complicated?
atheistbishopb: which relationships?
jaywalker: any relationships
atheistbishopb: specify there is a lot of diff
atheistbishopb: dont run away from naming or accepting the relationship first
jaywalker: girl-guy relationships
atheistbishopb: very well put
atheistbishopb: safely put
jaywalker: (snort)
jaywalker: yez thats right
atheistbishopb: just hypothetically explain one complication?
jaywalker: forget it.. getting into that will mean facing stuff i don't feel like right now
atheistbishopb: synonym= running away
atheistbishopb: do what ever u really feel like doing
jaywalker: what i really feel like doing is... killing a few people i know or just disappearing myself
atheistbishopb: hehe
jaywalker: tell me, do you know why i am running?
atheistbishopb: coz u are just as hesitant a person who enters an unknown realm
jaywalker: hmm
atheistbishopb: its like u are taking a roller coaster ride for the first time
atheistbishopb: u will always be afraid
atheistbishopb: but at some corner u know u might enjoy it
jaywalker: hmm
atheistbishopb: but u might end up like enjoying the hell out
atheistbishopb: or might puke mid way thru
atheistbishopb: but u will never know if u dont really take the ride
jaywalker: what if i have taken a ride and given it up halfway?
atheistbishopb: its a question of did u go thru the ride at least one revolution
atheistbishopb: or did u quit before reaching the top
jaywalker: halfway
atheistbishopb: the how would you know whether u would have really enjoyed it without getting to the best part the top?
jaywalker: how do i know the top is the best part
atheistbishopb: u would never know without reaching there
atheistbishopb: its just a cost benefit analysis
atheistbishopb: am i ready to puke mid way thru to see if I enjoy the top?
jaywalker: maybe i've puked and came running down to safety
atheistbishopb: would you go all the way to reap the benefits?
atheistbishopb: but if u puke when u are at the top then it completely justifies ur stand
jaywalker: hmm.
atheistbishopb: but u have to get to the top u might just be so thrilled that are actually on the top of the world
jaywalker: yeah
atheistbishopb: I hope u understand where I am getting at
jaywalker: i think so.
atheistbishopb: if u puke u will need a medicine and u will be fine very soon
atheistbishopb: but if u dont take the plunge and not really know how the top of the world looks like
jaywalker: hmm.
atheistbishopb: u have to wait for a long time before the next exhibition is in town
jaywalker: hmm... but then its not always only me :-) sometimes its the exhibition
atheistbishopb: and its not as periodic as it happens like an exhibition
jaywalker: i know that’s not clear
jaywalker: but that’s the closest i can get without talking too much
atheistbishopb: exhibition also has to think the same way or u have to make the exhibition think the same way
jaywalker: :-)
jaywalker: can you really make the exhibition change the way it thinks?
atheistbishopb: how do u know how it thinks?
jaywalker: when the exhibition tells you , you know
atheistbishopb: so do u think exhibition can think the way u think?
atheistbishopb: did u go looking for the exhibition?
atheistbishopb: or did exhibition come to ur town?
jaywalker: no didn’t
jaywalker: and I think the exhibition can think anyway it wants to if only it wants to
atheistbishopb: exhibition will come to town only if u wanna get on to it
jaywalker: exhibition came to town :-)

Lets see if jay Walker jumps onto the Roller Coaster from the Plank. In the next episode of Roller Coast Guard.

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? Death. What's that, a bonus? I think the life cycle is all backwards.
You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch and you go to work.
You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school.
You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities. You become a little baby, you go back into the womb, spend your last nine months floating and you finish off as an orgasm.
-Anonymous

Anonymous what bull.
You have to come out and take a bow.
If u ever get to read this heres mine. BOW.

Thanx K

The fact of the matter is that:
1. All our actions seem to be building to that crescendo, what ever that might be: for me it cud be closing a big deal, for somebody else its that big exam, or rollout of that project.
But I have realised that you should not be happy the whole of ur life.
Think of life as a graph (not steffi.. if only..)
It has to go below the axis for it to really rise and deliver the results. If u consier the X-axis as the comfort level. Then if u want everything to be above that comfort level then the crescendo that you wanna reach will also be low.
But is happiness such an amazing feeling that you want to slog for it for sucha long time?

Has it been ordained that you have to be happy all the time?
To me that crescendo itself the best thing to work for. I get an amazing high with success. I think leaving the logic of it alone. I am ready to get under the comfort axis, I enjoy struggling coz i know there are those few moments of joy and I the struggle itself is an amazing challenge against myself.
but as the great anomymous himself said: life as a whole oesnt seem to be leading to that big O, but we try to drive those little things to a crescendo when the whole bloody thing is going downhill.
